Strategic Services Initialized: 7/11/2007
Announcement:
Effective immediately, we are formalizing a Strategic Consulting business unit within John Garvin’s Professional Services Division (where we have been incubating this concept for some time). This Business Unit will be in addition to the already existing CPO (Crown Project Office), Technical Services and Competency Business Units. This Business Unit will be lead and managed by Rick Macartney as the Director Strategic Consulting, and member of the Executive Team. Rick will continue to have responsibility as the SaaS/Managed Services Director for the remainder of 2007 (supporting it in “maintenance” mode) and will retain responsibility as the interim DigiFirst Solution Manager for the time being. Initial team members include Rick, Robert Elefante and Doug Acker.
Charter:
The charter of this organization is as follows:
To build an ECM Strategic Consulting organization that drives strategic relationships with Crown’s existing client base with an expectation that every strategic consulting client will become a Platinum client within 24 months.
2007 Goals:
- Goal: Establish Strategic Consulting as a stand alone organization
- Goal: Create Strategic Consulting Services Framework
- Goal: Define Strategic Services Methodology
- Goal: Create competency building framework for Crown University to build resources for the Strategic Services business unit.
Metrics:
- 2007 Platinum Clients: 4 (5 stretch)
- 2008 Platinum Clients: 8
